Bill Kirkup

Bill Kirkup was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000 as recognition for his volunteer baseball efforts for Souris, for southwestern Manitoba, and for the Manitoba Senior Baseball League. He became a director of the Hall of Fame in 2011.He remained a director until he passed away in March 2025.He served for many years on our Merchandise Committee. He was also a key member of the Selection Committee, where he contributed his unrivalled knowledge of players and teams from southwestern Manitoba. He was known for his good humour and for his keen sense of responsibility to the people who support us financially.
