Jack Scott

Jack Scott was born January 12, 1955. His baseball career accomplishments encompassed the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, where he performed as a high-level catcher at all age levels from Little Canadian through Senior baseball. Scott was a member of a Little Canadian team that participated in one National Canadian championship, a member of one PONY league, one 18U league, and two Junior league teams that went to Western Canadian championships. When Scott was just out of Junior, he served as the Manitoba Junior League Commissioner for three seasons. During these years, he also coached the St. Boniface Legionaries Junior club. From 1982 through 1985, Scott played Senior baseball with St. Boniface in the Redboine League. Scott was involved in other sports such as hockey, volleyball, and particularly football for the St. Vital Mustangs and the University of Manitoba Bisons. Scott went on to coach Mustangs football for eight years and earned his spot in the Mustangs Hall of Fame. He also coached softball for ten years when his daughters were active in the sport. Scott currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
